The Foundation for law and constitution addressed themselves to the task, to fight against extraordinary criminals. To achieve, Wilton Knight, who is critically ill, developed the prodigy-car K.I.T.T. (Knight Industries Two Thousand). Beside his charming simulated intelligence, K.I.T.T. commands a bodyshell, whereby he is nearly unvulnerable. Further particular configuration tees support the driver in case of the fight against crime. In constable Michael Long, Wilton Knight detected the suitable person for his mission. Michael Long got almost mortally wounded in a commitment and has been recovered by Wilton Knight. He gave him a new face, new fingerprints and a new name – Michael Knight. Wilton Knight is convinced, that this man is able to change everything. From now on, Michael – side by side with K.I.T.T. – fights against crime.
