To maintain KITT, most people anticipate a cool male technician. But at the Foundation for Law and Constitution, a woman is responsible for technical interests. It is important to know, that Bonnie is an electric technician, not especially a car mechanic.

Eminently in the beginning of the series, Michael laid on the charm to her at every opportunity.

Why Bonnie is absent in the second season, it is unknown until today. At the end of the first season, Bonnie has not been approved, so that we can eliminate the fact, that it was an intended exit. In the first episode of the third season it is mentioned, that Bonnie left the Foundation to questing at another institution. At the end of this episode, she recurs back to the Foundation.

As you can experience in episode 10 (Inside out) in the first season, Bonnie scales 54 kg at a height of 1.68. Her chest measurement is 97 cm and her waist is 61 cm. She cares for KITT as if he would be her own child, but she overlooked a fault: the dickhead behind the helm, as Michael expresses her attitudes.

Bonnie Barstow, born on 27th November 1954 in Oak Harbor/ Washington / USA was played by Patricia McPherson. Beside Knight Rider, she acted in Mc Gyver, The Denver Clan, Star Trek: The next Generation and Matlock. In 1991 Patricia McPherson, married to James Garrett, backed out of the film business to apply herself to environment protection.
