Sarah’s University
Sarah’s and KITT’s escape on the campus area of the Stanford University were not shot at Stanford but on the area of the California State University at 18111 Nordhoff Street in Los Angeles Californien / USA

Shooting Programme on the streets
As in the series of the 80’s, the street shootings for Knight Rider 2008 were shot in Santa Clarita Valley / Californien / USA. The scene, when KITT overruns a stop sign at a crossover, is the corner Templin Highway / Old Ridge Road. In the streets of this area the closing scene was shot, in which another car bounces against KITT.

Casino
The exposures in the Casino were shot in the backdrops of the Montecito Casino, modelled after the real existing Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas, also known from the TV-series “Las Vegas”.
The backdrops are located in the Culver Studios (9336 W. Washington Boulevard, Culver Sity, California, USA).

The domicile of Mike’s mother
On the area of the Golden Oak Ranch, also marked as The Disney Ranch, the house is located, which in the film is passed off as the domicile of Mike’s mother. (19802 Placerita Canyon Rd. Newhall, CA). This house is marked as “Natalie’s Cabin”.

Motel
The motel, Charles and Mike’s mother hide in, is located in Piru at the Center Street, east direction next to the river bed and the Highway. In front of these barracks the fight scenes were shot, too.

Graiman’s House
Charles Graiman lives in the snobby neighbourhood in Chatsworth at 22640 La quilla Drive Charles. This house shelters KITT’s garage, too.
